The Breezy City of Pines

April 13 –We went to the breezy city of pines. We leave manila at around ten in the evening and arrived at Baguio around three in the morning, the travel is a bit fast. It was our first vacation without our parents with us….and we are all excited. We spent most of our Baguio vacation at my sister’s apartment since she needs to go work but we really enjoyed it ‘coz it was like:

The cool weather + a good TV show/movie + delicious snacks + a warm blanket
THE PERFECT BAGUIO VACATION

Baguio has a lot of good places to visit and if it’s not your first time to be there you knew it already.
But here’s a place that is not often visited by tourist.

MT. CABUYAO x MT. STO. THOMAS
In Mt. Cabuyao there are two disc-shaped radio transmitter, known as one of the most famous landmark of Baguio and commonly known as “Ra-dar”. Mt Cabuyao is also part of the trail going to Mt. Sto Thomas.

Mt. Sto Thomas, being the highest point of Baguio  serves as a very awesome view deck where you can enjoy an excellent view of the city, nearby towns, La Union and even the Lingayen Gulf opening out to the West Philippine sea.

This not is taken at the rice terraces at the Cordillera Region this is still at two awesome mountains of Baguio. Both mountains are inhabited by locals so there's houses, schools and vegetable terraces.

Going to Mt. Sto. thomas and Mt. Cabuyao is easy. You can even jog from Burnham Park to the summit of the Mountains, or you can take your vehicle all the way up. Or ride a jeepney or taxi going to Green Valley and walk through the road up.

TAKE NOTE:
It is better to be there when it’s not that cloudy ‘coz the cloud will cover the view.
Bring some snack and refreshments (it’s great to have a picnic at the top).
Do not leave any traces, Respect nature! Clean as you go is the policy.
And of course bring a camera coz the view is picture perfect.

Meet Toffee, our awesome ride.

If you’re into food trip here’s an awesome resto located the top floor of
La Azotea Bldg., 108 Session Road, Baguio City .

Oh my Gulay is a vegan resto and it is also called as the artist café because the place is decorated with some artworks of different artist. It is also known to be the ‘most blogged’ and ‘must visit’ resto in Baguio city and I have no doubts why because the dining experience is so awesome the food is great and the place is so cool, refreshing and appetizing as well.

Better bring a camera the place is sooooo awesome.

We also had a picnic at Camp John Hay and had a chance to take some good photos.
