 THE APPLE (INVERTED TRIANGLE) 
with upper body wider than the lower body. must balance the lower and upper body and draw attention to your lower body.

-  flowy dresses
-  High-waist pants or bottoms
-  light washed jeans or bottoms

 DIAMOND 
A diamond shaped figure is basically the opposite of an hourglass figure. The weight settles in the center of the torso. For me, I'm the thickest in the area over my ribs, creating a barrel-shaped center. The trick is to make the eye think there's actually a waist in there, somewhere.

-  Straight skirts that fall from the widest part of your hip.
-  Tops that are full, rushed or flowing around the bust.

with full waist, wide hipline, prominent tummy. youn must create an illusion of a longer and leaner silhouette and create a balance with your overall shape to look slimmer.

-  3/4 sleeved or loose blouses if you are conscious about your arms
-  straight skirts
-  wide leg pants or bottoms
-  v-neck tops with low neckline
-  wrap dresses that fit well on the waist
-  dark colors for an overall slimming effect
-  bright colors to highlight certain areas
